This is the fourth year we’ve returned to Serra do Cigano, and for good reason. João Hamilton and his partners at Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza are dedicated to both outstanding flavour and responsible farming. Their 10-hectare farm is managed with a deep respect for nature—eschewing artificial fertilisers and pesticides, reforesting areas around natural springs, and prioritising biodiversity.
The team’s commitment to quality is evident in every cup. By harvesting only the ripest cherries and refining their drying techniques with raised beds, they consistently deliver coffee with exceptional sweetness and clarity.
