Hawi the Hippie is a lush Ethiopian filter coffee grown high in the hills of Murago, Sidamo — naturally processed and built for slow mornings. It opens with vibrant blackberry and blueberry, settles into a deep red wine richness, then finishes with a soft caramel sweetness, like demerara dissolving at the bottom of the cup. As it cools, it gets deeper and more syrupy, with new layers coming through on every sip.
Naturally processed Ethiopians tend to be expressive and a little wild — fruit-forward, full of movement. Hawi leans into that completely.
Roasted in Ireland for filter brewing. Recommended for V60, Kalita, Chemex, Aeropress, or batch brew.
