Far Out Freddy is a fully washed Kenyan filter from the highlands of Kirinyaga — and it's one of the more distinctive cups you'll find.

The tasting notes tell you everything: Earl Grey tea, Ribena, and a straight-up blackcurrant bomb. Bright, clean, and intensely fruit-forward, with a citrusy acidity and a silky body that carries those flavours through to the finish.

It's grown by over 800 smallholder farmers delivering cherries to the Kii Factory, part of the Rung'eto Cooperative Society, just three miles from the farms — by wheelbarrow, bike, and motorbike. The cherries are hand-sorted, washed in the Kii River, and dried on raised beds overlooking a wildlife corridor that runs between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
