Created by Barrow Arts designer James, each vessel is individually handmade in Ireland, making it truly one-of-a-kind. These drinking vessels have been carefully designed to maximise the experience of drinking speciality coffee, with thoughtful proportions, ergonomics, and a comfortable handle that enhance every sip.

Special features are embedded throughout the structure of each wheel-thrown cup to accentuate certain aspects of your coffee. Pools slow the coffee down, increasing body, while ramps speed it up, enhancing sweetness. The overall weight of the vessel influences your perception of viscosity, and the rim design affects how the coffee sits in your hand and meets your lips.

James brings rhythm and resonance from his percussion background into his ceramic work - timing, rhythm and resonance link hands from one process to the other. His brushed glazing techniques create distinctive textures and finishes that make each piece unique.
