Rich and balanced, with notes of toffee, caramelised figs, clementine.

This certified organic coffee is smooth and balanced with a deliciously creamy body. It is produced by various smallholder farmers near the village of Gaitania in southern Colombia, an area that we visited several years ago following an epic bus journey from Bogotá. The hillsides are staggeringly steep and beautiful, and the rich volcanic soils and surrounding wetlands and alpine tundra all contribute to the area's unique terroir and cup profile. We've roasted this lot for espresso and moka pot preparations, but it will also make a richer filter coffee.
